Berlin, January 07, 1996

Yesterday and this morning dancing until the dawn. Stephan drove me home by car, since I didn't have my bicycle because when I left the house it was so icy that I could hardly walk which felt too dangerous to take the bike. Since it was the last performance yesterday I have to make appointments to dance and work further, and also now I have to start with full concentration on the project for the Olympics which I didn't dedicate this much energy yet. Deadlines are coming up such as one for an article for Cybermind and a script for the lecture for the CAA meeting in Boston, as well as I have to write applications for grants and continue some contacts that are made...At least my room is clean now and everything is ready to be worked on with full power. I am kind of happy to not have a break, when I am supposed to have a break because there is no urgent deadline usually my mind gets lazy and I get sick, fall into a depression and then I have to work like a maniac later in order to not get too far behind with the piles of work. So from today I lock myself into my room and work until the very end of the day or the early morning without being disturbed. Maybe I get ready to move into the studio for a couple of days. The answering machine is answering my phone calls and for the next couple of days nobody will be allowed in my room. Phone calls will be answered or returned for one hour per day unless they are really important. I have to get serious stuff done now and these letters to the WAG- A-dress will be my hours of relaxation, maybe dancing or training will be my only breaks during the day.
