Boston, February 22, 1996

I flew finally to Boston, after a five hour wait in the airport considering taking a train, I shuttled over to la Guardia from were I could depart within 20 minutes. So it was 3:00 pm when I arrived and I was so exhausted. Boston though is nice and the lecture went well. I was very calm to my surprise and almost happy to finally be able to present it and it being over after so much editing and fighting with this text that I was glad of it having an end. There are more than 6000 people in this conference and so many meetings that you don't know where to go to. A. T. and R. S. are so nice, I enjoyed very much meeting them. Late when I wanted to go to my hotel there was J. K. and others in the hotel lobby. Pretty boring discussion about the beginning of conceptual art. Maybe this is a very important point in terms of historisation, but it feels so minor. I stayed for another drink and it was pretty late when I started to go into direction "home" to the women's hotel.
