Yesterday he took us out for breakfast with LoYung and Jordan at Hackbart. I made him exchange seats because I wasn't facing the room but I pretended to be cold. The place with its golden walls and bar and dark blue tiles up to a meter off the ground on the wall, with wooden floor and wooden tables is really beautiful. Outside through big glass windows white gray streets and naked trees. I am eating lox and cheese, toast, rolls and have two cafe latte. I use the subway to get back from Mitte to the theater. I rehearse with Albert from 4pm to 8pm, which went well. Later I call up Diana and Dieter and they invite me to come over for dinner. I am playing chess with Dieter and explain it to Diana, while the soup is boiling silently. Later her ex- husband comes with her doughter and we are eating veggie-soup and eggplant quiche. I am glad that I don't have to suffer through a big unhealthy meaty holiday dinner. We are discussing until 4.30 am the problematic relationship between linear thinking and non-linear or even circular thinking. We are comparing different religions and philosophies to discuss the consequences. At around 4.00 am we started to discuss whether we moved in our discussion in a circle. We agree on the spiral and fall into bed....
